Reiki is the transfer of source energy through a trained and attuned channel — nothing more, nothing less.
Today many modalities are sold as "Reiki" but are not a practical transfer of source energy. These branches confuse Reiki with religious belief, kundalini technique, breathwork, sound healing, plant medicine and more — mixtures that obscure what Reiki actually is.
ShivEnergetics™ is a trademarked academy dedicated to the Usui Shiki Ryoho method in its original form. The full transmission is twelve attunements — four at each of Reiki 1, 2 and 3 — passed face-to-face, from teacher to student, as Reiki has always been.
Additional skills — Pendulum, Crystal Healing, Psychometry, DPA Meditation, the Energetic Map Shifting Modality — are taught after the attunements, as tools for the practitioner's own development and professional competency. They are never used to activate the Reiki energy.

From Manchester to Bangkok to Shanghai — and, finally, to the olive groves of Andalusia.
Sera is from Manchester, UK. After graduating from Leeds University in Sport, Health & Nutrition, she spent five years in Bangkok running her own personal training practice and began studying the body's energy system through Traditional Thai Massage and Traditional Thai Doula work at Wat Po.
In 2012 she found Reiki. She worked through the levels as every student does — through her own spiritual transformation — and became a teacher in 2014. For the next fourteen years in Shanghai she built her Reiki Academy: training medical professionals, yoga teachers, expat mothers, and a community that now continues her lineage in countries across the globe.
After nineteen years of city life, she exchanged the concrete for olive trees and the quiet of rural Granada, where she now hosts retreats, takes 1-1 students, and travels back to Asia for intensives. She is a Reiki Master Teacher at Level 9, and the founder of the Energetic Map Shifting Modality™.

Three paths, one lineage.
Become a Reiki practitioner, then Master.
A structured progression from Reiki 1 through Master-Teacher Level 9. Attunements are passed face-to-face; the theory, mentorship, and additional modalities can be completed online from anywhere.
Sit for a treatment — in person or remote.
Reiki clears energy blockages, releases toxins and restores the system to balance. Sera sees clients for pregnancy support, grief, anxiety, chronic pain, burnout and spiritual integration. Remote sessions available worldwide.
Arrive in Andalusia. Leave transformed.
Six programmes from Beginner to Master, hosted April–November in the mountain villages south of Granada. Limited to eight students. Olive groves, Sierra Nevada, nature walks, Reiki swaps and deep work.
The curriculum.
Twelve attunements across three levels — four for each — followed by years of practice, additional skills, and, for the rare few called to teach, a Master-Teacher progression from Level 4 through Level 9.

Energetic Map Shifting™
Six levels. A modality created by Sera to identify and shift the specific energetic patterns that keep a practitioner — and their clients — from their next threshold. Taught after Reiki 3.
DPA · Developing Psychic Awareness
Two levels of meditation training to cultivate the psychic perception needed by any serious practitioner. A prerequisite for Reiki 3 and Master progression.
Pendulum · Crystals · Psychometry
Diagnostic and supportive tools taught after the Reiki levels. Sharpen intuition, identify blockages, and deepen the practitioner's competency on the mat.
Meditation for Teens & Pre-Teens
Age-appropriate meditation classes for the next generation — grounding, emotional regulation, and the cultivation of a stable inner life.

Available OnlineA structured, present-focused, time-limited framework for identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours — widely used for anxiety, depression, anger, chronic pain, and alongside other psychotherapeutic work.

A complementary pathway, grounded in rigour.
Many of Sera's students are doctors, gynecologists, nurses, psychotherapists, and mindfulness instructors. Western medicine is not replaced — it is completed. Patients suffering with cancers, chronic illness and autoimmune disease often find their bodies detoxify, their organs replenish, and their physical systems return to balance after a handful of treatments and Reiki Level 1 training.
ShivEnergetics™ is IPHM accredited (No. NC9318), with trademarked training standards, documented attunement progressions, and a working mentorship circle for practising Master-Practitioners. Clinicians who train here leave with both the competency to support patients and the discernment to know what Reiki can — and cannot — do.
